I'm wondering if my 2wd 4.7/45rfe torque converter is worn or just normal. I've done 4.10's and at WOT it rips, screeches the tires 1-2nd, but under half throttle the truck feels slow. Maybe i'm too critical, but thats my one gripe about the truck, otherwise I love it.. But I pull a 6.5 sec 0-60..which is fun.

I'm close to giving it half throttle just to leisurely accelerate to cruising speed. I'm thinking about dropping the trans and throwing in an 11" edge 2600 or 2800 TC as I've read good things about them.
