Default No interior lights at all.

OK step by step.....My glovebox wouldn't open. I had to pry it open. it was the catch was broken. Plastic...go figure...
Ok the glovebox light was staying on . So I figured to pull the bulb so the Battery want go dead. In doing so I broke the part that holds the buld...Plastic again....
That night I noticed the interior lights are not working at all. No map lights or floorboards are coming on. Could it be where I was messing with the glovebox light. I have checked the Fusses and do not find a blown one anywhere.
Thanks for the replies...

What year is your truck? It could be a fuse.

Unfortunately I don't have a wiring diagram for a '97 but in later years there is one fuse for the interior lights, including the glove box.

Did you check the junction box on the side of the dash?

A 97 may also have the Ignition Off Draw fuse, which if I remember it right is in the Power Distribution Center fuse box under the hood. If the IOD fuse is blown it can also take out the dome lamps too.
