Default Fan clutch... who has deleted?

So I am replacing my water pump in my continued journey to breath new life into this truck... Stumbled upon several threads on other forums about deleting their fan clutches and relying solely on their electric fan... my clutch fan is toast.

so my question to you... Worth it to replace? Pacific Northwest... cold, wet 8 months out of the year... do I need it? Who has deleted theirs?

Cheers!

You live in a very cold area but the 4.7 dosent like even a short overheat condition this almost always results in a blown head gasket not a fun or cheap fix.

Its your gamble

You can go to the junk yard and wire in an aux fan.. A lot of guys used to do the mark viii fan off the Lincolns and claimed it was more than enough air for the dakotas
