Default Overdrive switch

My 2000 Dakota truck the overdrive switch on the shifter is broken rather than replace the whole shift lever which looks like a pain in the ***. I'm just going to put a switch under the dash. Question is, is the switch a momentary switch or a constant on off switch. Push button. Or a flip switch.

Looks like SPDT on/off with one ORANGE/WHITE and one BLACK wire.

Is it a constant feed or a momentary on/off type switch

Lightbulb

Constant---just like the light switch in your house, on when you want it, off when you don't.
