Default steering rack question

Is the steering rack mounted with rubber mounts? I ask this because I noticed when cranking the steering wheel back and forth the rack appears to be moving some in the mounting bolts. Should there be movement where it is bolted to the frame?

Yes, mounted on rubber bushings similar to the control arms. But they slide in and out tons easier.

How difficult are they to change? Do I have to disconnect anything other than the mounting bolts?

No. depending on condition, you can do it one bolt at a time. I did mine when i changed the rack, and they just slid right in, old ones fell apart when i took the bolts out.
