won,t idle all the time
first start of the day sometimes it won,t idle unless i touch the gas petal a little
i put a new throttle posision senor in a week later check engine light came on so i put another tps in worked good for a while then light came on,wouldn,t idle today,i took a 30 mile trip,came home now it idles,don,t put many miles on it,just around town,it has 218,000
miles on it runs good,what would cause that.2000 dodge dakota sport 3.9 auto tranny

Definitely check the battery voltage first. A weak battery can make these trucks seem possessed. If it's not the battery, it sounds like the problem is only in open loop.. once it hits closed loop, it idles ok.
I would look at what the code is, (do the key dance) then hook it up to a scanner and monitor the sensors that are used in open loop like the IAT sensor and the coolant temp sensor.
