98 4x4 5.2 5spd.
Hit 212,000 last month, still runs strong, bought in 05 with 140,000. Replaced the water pump, brakes, rear diff., and i've been through around four clutches. But I don't blame Dodge for that one, I blame Napa.
Been from Cali to Texas around 4 times, then the long haul from Cali to Virginia! Ran like a champ. Now its soaking up the breeze here in Guam, going to have to chase down all the rust spots when i get back to the states. darn.

Ok i did not read them all but.....
My 2001 Dakota 4.7 V8 now has 323,226 I bought it at the end of 01 with 26,000 on it so i guess i have driven it around the world about 11 times. I love my old truck. Tranny fixed once, new starter, water pump, ball joints, alternator, window motors. Yes it has had some repairs but hey i got my moneys worth. Still gets about 17 mpg gas and 320 mpq of oil. LOL I put 120 miles a day on her and she still runs like a champ.

I'm the second owner of my '04 quad cab 4.7
I bought it in August with 145k miles.
It now has 150k miles.
So far I've only had do catch up on some of the little stuff maintenance the PO let slip at the end - CV boot, Plenum door on the AC & a gas cap.
I love the 4.7 - it amazes me that this little v8 can still reliably run at 5000 rpms.

Had my 94 5.2 4x4 auto ext cab from 96 until this july when my son wrecked it. Bought it with 42,000...parked it in the trees with 225,000. Original eng & trans. Miss her, was an excellent truck for me.
"Upgraded" to a 2000 qc 4.7 4x4 auto with 116,000 miles on it. Has the dreaded clear coat peel. Other than that, seems solid.
