Bad EGR Valve, made all kinds of problems for me!
I own a 2005 Dodge Durango, 4x4 5.7L, with under 46,ooo Miles on it
(I jump stared the Durango and thought I blew the Computer in it.)
After a few weeks it stared to run like Crap, Stalling at stop signs and quick stops would kill it.
It just got worse over time, It would chug and feel like it was shifting gears between 35 - 50 MPH.
and I took it to have the computer read.
Turned out to be the EGR Valve
I researched it on here and found that it’s a common problem among all Dodge Cars and Trucks..
And happens to the newer ones more than the old. (most between 20,000 -45,000 Miles)
After fixing mine ( which fixed everything!) the Dealer was telling me that I was lucky,
Almost all EGR Valves are on back order for4 - 6 weeks because it’s a common problem.
It was a $75.00 fix that I did it my self, under ½ hour .
4 Bolts and help from one of the members on here.
