Just a heads up on the insturment cluster in your truck. Call your local dealership, give them your vin # and ask if the instrument cluster has been replaced under the national recall warranty. There is a problem with those clusters with electrical shorts and several trucks have burnt to the ground because of it. It's a national recall for the '04 models and the dealership will replace it for free. May be worth looking into.

Seat sensor, have you left anything on the passenger seat for a long period of time. I know this sounds crazy but put something around the seat like a strap and put some tension on it. I left a heavy laptop bag over night and for days it would through a light. I took a roll of paper towers and jammed it between the seat and console so it pushed up on the seat side and it cured the problem.

The 2005 had a instrument cluster recall, not the 2004 (204),

KCoTI:

You just need to put some more air into the bag!!!!!!! LOL

Seriously, are we talking about the red airbag light on your gauge cluster, or the one in the middle of the dash?

Could be lots of things, and as mentioned one of the more common and less expensive repairs is the clock spring.

Lots and lot of wiring and senors with that system also. You need to find out what the issue is though in case you need them quickly!!!!!!!

I get the same issue with the pass side airbag light, and have cleared it by checking, and wigling the plug located under the seat. I think its stuff my sons leave on the floor and hit the plug and make it loose connection of some sort.
