Default Dome/Interior Lights

If anyone can help we would appreciate it. We have a 2005 Durango also and the dome/interior lights will not come on when the doors are opened making it hard to see at night. They will come on when pressed but that's all. I did not see a specific fuse for it either.

Thanks

There is a little wheel next to (on the right side of) the Headlight control. Make sure it is not in the "up" locked position,

Hi!

Just bought a 2005 Dodge Durango Limited and we have the same problem. No lights when opening a door or using the remote to unlock the doors... Checked all fuses in manual but none seems to control this feature. I don't know if it's related but lights in the sun guards won't light up either.

Dome/interior lights works when we press the buttons, so i don't think it's burned.

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Can this have been "deprogrammed" ??

Thanks in advance !

You need to have the G07 recall preformed It's for dome light problems and it's free. There is the posibility your cluster will have to be replaced and that requires you leave the car untill the part come's in. the cluster has the milage stored in it and the new one comes with the milage programed in If the cluster ck's out it's a one day thing It only takes about an hour but depends on the shops schedule

Thanks a lot ! Much appreciated.

We already have an appointment for 2 recalls next thursday. I hope this will solve the problem !

The other recall is for the windshield wiper motor.

Do you know if the G07 recall will make steering wheel audio controls work ? I see buttons behind the steering wheel but they won't do anything...

the recall wont fix anything but int light. the wiper motor recall may get you a new wiper motor and linkage. there is a tag on the motor they have to look at but most tags can not be read so you get new parts any way. If the buttons are on the back of the wheel they are for the radio. Is the radio still stock? . The dealer can ck this but it will but they will probably charge you to do so

Yes, radio is stock but i'm not sure if Limited had steering wheel audio control as standard or optional... Buttons are there, just don't know if they are always there...
