Default Windshield wiper motor issue.

Guys, I have a 05 Durango. The wiper motor never parked the wipers right away but maybe after a few minutes of trying I could get them to go down.
Well the cowl grill rubber was rotting away so I replaced it. While in there I put a brand new factory motor in. Now the wipers bounce off the bottom and come up a couple inches and stay there. I thought maybe I missed marked the wipers when I put them back on so unscrewed them and tried a bunch of different positions but same thing. If I adjusted them down they hit each other and now they sit high on the windshield.
Anyone have this or have some info?
thx
Jim

Default

Just figured it out. The motor somehow got power to it before I installed it and was off orientation. Disconnected the armature ran it 4-5 times then parked it and hooked the wipers up where I wanted them parked. Makes sense.
