2005 Durango Hemi, Radio issues
On Tuesday I went out and my Durango's battery was dead. I jumped it and took it in to my mechanic (it was scheduled for an oil change that day anyway). My mechanic said the battery was bad so he recommended that I replace the battery and I had him do it.
On Wednesday I went out and my car was again dead. I jumped it again then I pulled out my multimeter to run a draw test on battery. There was a parasitic draw. Traced the draw to the radio and I pulled the fuses for it. Reran the draw test and no draw.
Thursday morning, wake up and car starts fine.
Question is: Any quick/easy way of knowing if it was just a bad radio or if there is an issue with the wiring. I mean other than buying a new radio and installing it/rerunning the draw test.
I am not a great car electrician guy.
