I'm looking for a dirt-cheap 17" rim to use for a full size spare. As it's just going to be a spare, I don't really give a s*** what it looks like, so long as it doesn't cost a fortune. I actually found a matching rim at a junkyard for $135, and I realize this is probably the best dealI'm going to get on an OEM wheel, but I was hoping for a little cheaper, so if anyone has any suggestions please chime in.
How about a 16" rim with a higher profile tire? I've read that 225/60/16 works. That's a definite mismatch with your other tires but so are many spares.
I have2 17" cromed alluminum wheels off of my 02 Detrepid the dealer replaced them under warranty because of bad crome job they look fine at 50 miles per hour you can have them for 150.00 or 75.00 for one.
