That is a real big fear for most with the price of vehicles nowadays. Thankfully they came up with gap insurance to save your butt in a situation like that.[sm=smiley20.gif]
Well you guys do know, that the guy who drove Eleanor (Toby Hilicki), was the director, writer, did all of the stunts (which were on real streets, w/ normal people, which they had no clue about a flim being made), and also owned every car in the movie that was wrecked, except two Cadillacs from that dealership. He also has another movie out, called the "Junkman". However, he died while making the sequal to Gone in 60 Seconds, when he was getting ready to get into his car before a stunt, where he was suppose to go underneath a water tower and the tower was suppose to crash to the ground... the tower fell on his car, killing him and another man.
His wife Denise produced the modern version w/ Nicholas Cage.
I was at a Who concert at the Palace in Detroit a few years back, and I believe it was the Warren County Sherrif Dept was heading up the traffic direction and security before and after the concert. They all had Intrepid units. I had just gotten my 96 Intrepid, and was drooling. Those Intrepid Units looked so beautiful in the crisp cool air with their blue and red strobes going. They had the 7 lights aranged in the V on the top of the car instead of the light bar. REALLY nice![8D]

I know this topic is old, but I just wanted to say that I saw a 2003 dodge intrepid .. with the 5.7 L hemi, but I cannot find any information on it? Yes, I took pictures, they are on my other computer, I will make an effort to get them put on if anyone cares to see them?

I didn't get a pic of the back, but the back said it was a "sXt" which is what? the 3.5L engine?
