Default new decision on neon

i just decided that turbo is too much of a hassle and srt swap takes too much time. i decided to just build up my motor from head to toe. lol. so dats my final decision. and if i everytin goes good. ill turbo in da future when my engine can take it. now my next mod would b a cold air intake , either though i just bought a k&n air filter. wat ya think?

yeah use the k&n its better than most cheap knock-offs......going all motor is more expensive than going turbo you realize??? all motor will be more dependable though...

thats what i did (got a srt-4).....the hardest thing to do after the swap is tune with MS like mikey is doing.....the car will be down for probably 4-5 full days if you take your time installing the turbo setup...and thats just install not tune.....but i believe with turbo cars you want low compression bc the turbo builds alot of pressure....so you would want a cam that gives you a low compression....AND SEE THAT WOULD SUCK FOR A ALL MOTOR CAR BECAUSE THEY NEED HIGH COMPRESSION lol.....so you have to kinda pick a way....instead of cam first you can do eagle rods and j.e. pistons first.....titanium valve springs and retainers....get a new intake manifold as the oem plastic one wont hold up under high boost...and maybe some headwork...THEN THE CAM AND TURBO....lol or just go like me and get a srt-4 lol

i would definately start with the rods and pistons first then....and look into other parts if your thinking about turboing later.....like look into a transmission or oil pan extension so you can hold more fluid...= safer......crank scrapper and windage tray are good too....got a auto might want a transmission cooler...
