ok stupid question. when i take my car to get an estimate later this week, all i do is give them the paint code of the color i want?

i was thinking of going with a darker color, but then i realized if i did that everything under the hood would be the original color which is E blue. which wouldnt look so great lol. so more than likely i will just go with the factory color and just get them take out the scratches and the dings i have in it
