Exclamation 2000 Dodge Neon Code P0340

Lately i have been having problems with my neon it had been running like crap it misfired a couple time and it starting sputtering when I would be in reverse and hitting the gas on take off and then the other night on the way home the car completly died on me and i did the code trick and the code P0340 came up which meant a cam sensor malfunction I replaced the cam sensor but the car still wont start and the code is still there and suggestions could it be the timeing?

I heard that the crank sensor is good if the car is getting spark which it is it seems like there is no fuel getting to it to start it.

ok so i found out the water pump seized up and broke my timing belt replaced the water pump and timing belt 99% sure the timing is correct but car runs like **** and theres no compression on number 3 could that be a bent valve or is the piston shot??

you know i will lmao but i hope its a valve cuz that would be less then to replace a piston i just dont know how it got so messed up darn timing belts cuz if its a piston then i got to get the hole bored out and make sure no metal went further into the engine .

Yea im pretty sure its only 1 valve if it is the valve cuz all cylanders are hitting exept 3 but if they charge to much im handling it myself cuz i got the FSM for the car and the valves arnt that hard its the pistons that are a pain but i can spend like 1500 to fix it I love my neon but its starting to be a pain in the butt
