It's Alive!!! Found a NEW radiator on E-bay for $56 shipped to my door!! Swapped it out about a month and a half or two months ago and all is good so far.
If the the OEM radiator was built like this one there wouldn't be an issue with these. The replacement has a brass cooler with the hose nipples as part of it, This unit is installed inside the tank same as OEM but it is threaded externally for a nut to cooler inside radiator. The OEM has a hose nipple threading into the cooler inside the tank. A small leak here could be just inside radiator and mix coolant and trans fliud. The replacement setup would just be a coolant leak outside the radiator if the nut loosened or a trans fluid leak if the hose clamp loosened. The only way you would have fluid mixing is if the cooler cracked. Should have taken pictures when I was matching them up to make sure it was correct radiator. I might see if I can get under it and get some. I still have the old one to get pics of.

My 2004 sxt radiator split and I had trans fluid mixing in the coolant. The car ran for about 3 miles when radiator gave way. I had it tow to my house and put in the new Radiator. I then drove it 10 miles to the dealer and had the transmission and coolant system flushed. I replaced the transmission fluid with the MOPAR brand. Trans been fine and that was about 10,000 miles ago.
