Jus new to the forum but looking for an answer on a situation came up with my 04 automatic neon...
The check engine light came on and transmission started jerking kicking, and also second gear seems to stay blocked as no other gear is allowed.
Took to a garage and we decided to bring down whole tranny, found lot of dirt on all the valve body, a couple of burned discs, but generally the whole hardware is in great shape.
No evident wear or damage to any part of the whole tranny.
As the rebuilt transmission was set up again, the car seemed to be fine and the engine light went off...until yesterday.
Scanned the car and fount these codes
PCM
P-0700
P-0480
P-0481
TCM
P-1684
P-0882
P-1776
P-0706
This was done previous of first disassemble of the tranny.
Today the tranny still kicking jerking, and the engine light came on as second gear was blocked again, not allowing any other gear to work, must park and turn off car to have it working again, but the light still on.
Any advice on what to do to correct the problem?..
Im replacing the speed sensors, and the solenoids, but not shure if this will help.
Thank you all..

P1684(12) - Battery was Disconnected (Informational code Only)
When monitored: Whenever the key is in the Run/Start position.
Set condition: This code is set whenever the PCM is disconnected from battery power (B+) or ground. It will also be set during the DRBIIIt Battery Disconnect procedure.
Theory of operation: A battery backed RAM (Random Access Memory) is used to maintain some learned values. When the battery B(+) is disconnected, the memory is lost. When the B(+) is restored, this memory loss is detected by the PCM. The code is set and the learned values are initialized to known constants or previously learned values from EEPROM (Electronic Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory). This results in the reinitialization of some parameters.
Transmission Effects: Loss of trouble code data. Immediate Limp-in mode if power is lost while operating the vehicle. Normal operation is resumed if the power is restored during the same key start.
Possible causes:
> Battery voltage removed from PCM
> PCM disconnected
> Dead Battery
> Low battery voltage during cranking
> Battery Disconnect by DRBIIIt or MDS2
> PCM ground circuit missing.

P1776(47) - Solenoid Switch Valve Latched in LR Position
When monitored: Continuously when doing partial or full EMCC (PEMCC or FEMCC)
Set condition: If the transmission senses the LR pressure switch closing while performing PEMCC or FEMCC. This code will be set after two unsuccessful attempts to perform PEMCC or FEMCC.
Theory of operation: The solenoid switch valve (SSV) controls the direction of the transmission fluid when the LR/TCC solenoid is energized. SSV will be in the downshifted position in 1st gear, thus directing the fluid to the LR clutch circuits. In 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, the SSV will be in the upshifted
position and directs the fluid into the torque converter clutch (TCC). When doing PEMCC or FEMCC, the LR pressure switch should indicate no pressure if the SSV is in the TCC position. If the LR pressure switch indicates pressure while in PEMCC or FEMCC, EMCC operation is aborted and inhibited to avoid inadvertent application of the LR clutch. Partial EMCC will be attempted if the LR pressure switch does not indicate pressure. A second detection of LR pressure results in setting the code.
Transmission Effects: At speeds above 72 Km/h (45 MPH), EMCC is inhibited. Once speed falls below 72 Km/h (45 MPH), the transmission will go into Limp-in mode and the MIL will illuminate after 5 minutes of substituted operation.
Possible causes:
> Valve body - Solenoid valve stuck in LR position
> Intermittent short to ground or open circuit in LR Pressure Switch Sense circuit (with code 24 only)
> Solenoid/Pressure Switch (with code P0841(24) only)
> PCM (with code P0841(24) only)

P0706-CHECK SHIFTER SIGNAL
When Monitored: Continuously with the ignition on.
Set Condition: After 3 occurrences in one ignition cycle of an invalid PRNDL DTC which lasts for more than 0.1 second. Note: All indicator lights on the instrument cluster will illuminate boxed when the vehicle engine is not running, ignition on or engine running in park or neutral if a problem exists.

P0882: TCM Power Input Signal Low
I can't find any thing on this one ATM, but it would seem the above two are for sure causing some problems. P1776 is probably causing the jerking in slow traffic.
Possible causes:
> Valve body - Solenoid valve stuck in LR position
Meaning I must replace SSV which has already been replaced with brad new one.
> Intermittent short to ground or open circuit in LR Pressure Switch Sense circuit (with code 24 only) Can you help by pointing the circuit i should check or replace?..This seems to be my problem..
check the light blue wire coming off from the pressure switch.
^^this is your pressure switch to help you find it.
Hopefully it's grounding before the switch if not you might have to replace the switch but check the wire all the way first to make sure it's not grounding out. It might be possible that if the LR solenoid is bad you could just replace that solenoid but i've never had it apart so i can not say if it's changeable.
