-Did you get cheap, Chinese made bearings or higher quality ones? I replaced the inner and outer rear bearings in my '94 Tempo about three months ago and the one side went bad. Nothing wrong the the original bearings, I just do a lot of highway driving back and forth to work now. About two months after the change, the left rear started doing the death groan. Luckily I still had the stock bearings, which were Timken, so I repacked them and replaced the brand new Chinese junk ones. No noise what so ever now. Oh yeah. This ol' gal has 186,300 miles on her. The Chinese bearings had maybe a few thousand miles on them.

L8R,
Matt
