Default Will a turbo Work with my automatic tranny?

I have an 04 sxt. it has an automatic tranny in it tho. i have a custom

magnaflow exhaust and k and n cold air intake for the only performance

mods. im wondering if i can get a turbo to work with my automatic tranny

or will i have to swap it out for a standard tranny? my car has 91k miles

on it and i dont want to F the engine up. so will a turbo work for all of

this or no?

Yes it will work. It may not work for very long, but it will not keep your car from running. Stock automatic transaxles where not made for performance applications.

in better terms.

yes u can setup a turbo for an automatic neon. but why would u want too. for one it would cost alot to do it rite. and on stock internals u can only run like 7 psi safely. wich somepeople say it feels like nothing. and 2nd u just dont want a turbo on a auto car because it wont be fun. trust me your much better to just save up some money and do a srt-4 engine swap. if u dont know what im talking about well its the srt-4 engine and just swap it all into the neon u have now. itll take like $5,000 to do it rite but its well worth it then turboing ur auto then 2 months later blowing the engine up because u wanna turn up the psi or something.

the transaxle makes no difference in a turbo fitting or not. honestly i would use the money u wrer going to put tword a turbo kit and either swap to manual, or swap to srt.

Well easier said than done. i can NEVER find a wrecked SRT anywhere where i live. i look like 3 times a week at all the wrecking yards and none of the places ever have em. not to mention i wouldnt know what exactly all i need to get pulled. and idk who around here would. idk how to put anything into my car such as the engine and tranny and turbo. and idk how much it would cost for someone to do it right for me. 5k sounds kinda tight for engine and turbo and tranny. but idk where the hell i can get it lol

yes, it willwork with an auto tranny...i know because ive done it lol and thats the end of that.

the only difference is that the stock srt intercooler wont fit without some cutting of the coldside because the auto tranny is bigger. i still have mine that i cut, make me an offer and its yours
