for those who have add any stereo (or anything else electrical);

Where is the best place to put the power to the battery for a wiring kit for a amp+sub?

Where is the best place to ground the amp wiring for the trunk? Under driver seat?

Where is the best place to ground the stereo ground wire?

1. I wired it up to the battery with an inline fuse. I think that's what you are asking?
2. I removed the rear seat (very easy and quick to remove and reinstall) and grounded it under there. Just run the ground wire under the rear seat frame/bracket, whichever you'd like to call it.
3. The same place the factory stereo is grounded. Just hook up the wires. If not, you'll have to crawl under there and find a metal spot.

Kinda, i have (or its on its way) the whole wiring kit, but was more importly wondering how you hooked the power cord itself to the battery.

In my old corolla i just kinda jammed it in where i could, and was trying to make sure i do a neat and clean job.

also is there any area to run the power cord, or will i have to drill one?

I may be able to answer these myself, but i have not crawled or looked around the car for the stereo quite yet, but thanks for your patience!!!

Not to sound too smart (hint - dip****5000), but I used a ring terminal and bolted it down to the battery terminal bolt. I believe my kit actually came with it. If yours doesn't, they are not expensive by any means. I ran the power wire through the harness grommet in the firewall and then under the carpet the whole way to the trunk. The easiest way to get it through that grommet is to run a coat hanger or something similar through the grommet first, attach the power wire to it and then just pull it through.

thanks! ill maybe post pictures as i go, in case anyone else comes around with the same questions i have.

help eliminate the need for reposting and reposting the same stuff over and over for idio... advanced car audio (or anything too in depth) persons.

also did you run the power around the same area as the RCA? some cords are more prone to pick up bad noise and others dont, have you run into problems, or did you make sure they were not too close? or is this some old wifes tale?

I ran each wire down separate sides of the car just to be safe. I didn't want to find out if that was true or not after I put everything back together. When they are hooked up to the amp, they are only a couple of inches apart anyways...

if you run them down the same side they will pick up interference trust me had to rewire my whole system..and i ground my amp to the strut tower in the back..but know my amps are under my driver and passenger seats..plenty of spots to ground them towards the center console

i should have all the equipment by Tuesday and do it all then!

The aux imput is on the back, so im just going to run it right into the compartment below it for my Ipod, so will need to drill a hole there and run and connect wires then BAM!!!
