2003 Neon speedometer and tach problems
On my wife 2003 Neon, she left the light on and had to get a battery she took the car to Autozone and they changed out the battery. She left and the speedometer or the tach didn't work. I come in from work and looked at the car what i found was the speedometer and tach had went all the way around to the peg and will not come back to zero. Is there any thing I can do?

I believe the procedure is: hold the trip button down for a few seconds, then turn the key to the "ON" position (not start), and the needles should sweep and reset.

Speedometer and tach not working.
I read the article on how to reset the speedometer and tach at 3:00am. I got up and took my keys and done exactly what it said to do. To my surprise, they started working again. Thank you so much for your help. Sincerely, Barry.

Same problem with same year Neon
Thanks for the tip. My battery went dead and I put the charger on it for a few hours, then when I started it and went to drive it, both speedometer and tachometer were pegged. This worked like a charm. Thank you very much!
