Default battery light

After replacing bent valves and installing everything back on my battery light came on. I went to autozone and had it tested it was a bad battery. I replaced the battery and the battery light is still on. Could it be the alt?? Its still charging. Any clues??

The battery light is on, indicates the charging system is weak. So, it's either the battery, or the alternator.

If it's the alternator, it's usually the brushes that need to be replaced.

P1193 is your intake air temp sensor. Check to see if it's unplugged.

P1684 is your battery disconnected in the last 50 starts. Nothing to worry about because you did disconnect it, and replace with a new battery.

There is a blanket that goes around the battery with a sensor on the back of it. Make sure you install the blanket and plug the sensor in.

I read somewhere here that the light was also related to the air temp sensor. Mine had one broken wire. Fixed it and battery light went away. VEry nice

It can be, yeah. I know the 2005s are. I have no idea if the 2000-2002s had the battery light. If they did, it'd probably be the same then. I think 2003s and early 2004s are the only ones that had that stupid blanket and sensor.
