coolant reservoir overflow tank / overfilled

coolant reservoir overflow tank / overfilled
To make a long story a little shorter
------- The problem I couldnt see through the container and over filled it passed the the hot line.
Would it eventually poor out as the car got hot?
If not how can i remove the coolant without taking the overflow off again.
My coolant overflow reservoir broke and was leaking on the engin and other parts.
Both owm dealers did not have it (5-7 days) no other parts store neay by did either.
Next best thing (to get one today or tomorrow) the junk yard.
Woo they have a few neons.
**** i dont have my tools and at this moment they wont share theirs
Go home get tools
Top bolt out easy
Bottom one is actually a nut that threads onto a bolt and on this car the bolt stuck out too far for my socket to reach the nut.
NOOOOOO!
Now wrenching off (so I think) NOPE every thing is turning.
Now they are nice enough to share tools and help STILL NO LUCK
Move onto another neon where we eventually get them off (PITA)
This took over an hour of screwing with (sad i know)
It cost me $20 for the overflow container and an injector cover.
I get home do my best to clean it out.
Eventually go back outside
Took the battery out which makes it 100x easier to get to the lower nut
Cleaned my bettery and lightly cleaned the terminals
Worked the lower nut until i could untwist it with my fingers (didnt want to drop/lose it)
Then the top
Then popped of the hose from the pressure fill cap
Attached the hose onto the replacement slid it into place bolted it up and bam done.
