Default camshaft sensor

hi everyone. just wanted to say that I replace the camshaft sensor. I didn't get a code I have a 148,000 miles , so I decided to change It befor anything happen to the camshaft sensor

my question is I removed the old sensor and replace it with a new one, but was I suppose to remove the TARGET MAGNET...

Smile removing camshaft sensor

hi everyone

today I removed the camshaft sensor even though I had no code engine light on. my car has 148,000 miles. so decided to change it before it goes bad.

my question is . I removed the sensor and installed the new one, but was also suppose to remove the TARGET MAGNET.

I just replace the sensor. will this affect my car in a bad

You only remove/replace the magnet if it is broken, just like the sensor.
