Default IOD fuse

ok I think the issue with the starting is that the radio is not fully switching off, since the lock is now worn (i.e. key can be pulled out in any position) so even when turning to off position, the radio does go off but then after a few sconds displays the time and CD, and stays in even after an hour or so.. I don't remember it doing this before the lock screwed up.

so... I looked to disable the radio till I can get the lock sorted also to proove if this is the issue,

anyway.. I found out about this IOD fuse (yellow fuse in main distribution box with 2 clips for easy removal) , so I pulled it out up as far as it goes, this is normal, cant be pulled out, and of course radio and other stuff goes out, the idea is that afterwards you pop it back in again.

so till I get this sorteed out can I drive with the IOD fuse out, also I can't "seem" to push the IOD fuse back in. Don't wanna force it..

any ideas thanks
