Default Low beam headlights sometimes don't work

I turned on the headlights in my 2003 neon and the low beam lights would not come on, but the high beams came on, then after a few minutes if you switch back to low beams they will work. the running lights work on low beam, but no headlights. Has anyone had this problem, or do you have any ideas other then selling the car.

I would look for a bad headlight relay or a Daytime Running Light Control Module. Maybe dimmer/headlight switch.

I have seen a similar problem with my 98 Wrangler. My low beam lighting switch is pull-activated, but the brights are column-mounted/activated by pulling/pushing the blinker shaft, and it seems like the brights/blinker shaft may be going bad cuz if I jiggle it, my low beam headlights will work again.

Check wiring and ground points as well.
