It starts and runs. The hose goes to a hard plastic line towards back of car.

Some vacuum or evap system line probably. I'm sure it will trigger the CEL soon enough.

Yeah I was thinking that was bound to happen. I went poking around there because a code
P0507 was stored. My luck. If I plug the hose, would that set off the cel as would the hole in the TB. What if I plug both, till I can get some tubing to fix this?

The throttle body is a whole unit; there isn't just a "housing."
I mean, yes, there is the housing of the T/B, but it's not a replaceable part that you can just buy. I know what line you are talking about, but without a Neon anymore, I can't go out and confirm what part you are specifically talking about. Sorry.

That's what I was thinking. Non replaceable. If I buy used, could I swap parts if cost effective?

If its a part on the TB, buy a junk yard TB and swap the whole thing, Use your existing sensors though.

If you are going to buy a used TB, why swap parts over? You'd just need to move over the IAC, I think that's about it. Everything else is going to be the same, but if you want to just because, by all means...

Kinda what I meant, IAC, was not sure if any other sensors are on it.
