Default bucking / misfire

Not sure, but wouldn't I see a misfire on the tach? Only at idle do I feel a buck or surge or misfire. Can be in drive or neutral at idle. Several months ago I had this and new wires from autozone cleared it up. I don't know, any ideas?

As for plugs, I always used champion in this car. How would the NGK copper V perform? Or should I just use a copper plug?

NGK Copper V's are still standard copper plugs. I think that's what I had bought last for mine as I tried moving away from Autolites.

Any check engine light? Those codes might point you to the right things to test in order to find out the problem.

Mine ran fine with them in, just like any other copper plug.

That's just it. I keep checking for codes and get done, so none yet. Car runs fine other than this buck or miss at idle , in or out of gear. Now I never been sure about tranny fluids. It's the right kind / specs but reading stick is the issue. On cold engine pull stick wipe , pull again it shows full in hot range. If engine hot and check and pull stick it shows full in hot. Always been like that. I'd like to take some out on cold too lower level and recheck on hot. But don't wanna mess anything up. Anybody else have this issue?
