If you are asking how to check the transmission fluid, you check it when the transmission is hot and with the engine running. Stop on a level spot after driving for at least 15-20 minutes and leave it in park. Let it sit a minute or two and then check the fluid level.

So I bought NGK copper plugs. Now it starts better and the miss is gone. As for the tranny fluid check. When it's hot it's full and when it's cold it's full. You should check it cold before starting the engine from overnight , right? That's what I do And it reads full hot even when it's cold.

How I outlined to check the transmission fluid is how Dodge says to do it, and most everyone else. If it's full when cold, it might be overfull as fluid expands when hot.

Yes, as you outlined is the process that I have been using for many many years and I have never seen these results. If the stick reads hot full when cold then surely it would read over hot full when hot, but it does not. And that's what I don't understand.
