Default Cv joint/axle question

Neon sxt 120,000 miles

Trying to chase down front end noise when going slow over bumps (different post). With the car not running, I jerk the steering wheel and hear a click sound from the cv joint. Boots are not torn or leaking. Normal?

When driving there are no clicking sounds when turning like a bad cv joint typically does.

Here is a video of passenger joint which appears to be source of the click sound. Is this normal? Turn up your volume.

they should be solid, @ 120 they should be still solid mine lasted 240k till the boots broke & got clunky. R&R them both at same time... while you're in the deep might be time for new suspension bushings, ball joints, inner & outer rods

I have a 2000 neon, now i had no problem getting the old one out. The problem i am having is getting the new one back in. The tranny side of it will not pop all the way in witch causes the seal not to work properly. I have about 3/4 to go and i just cant seem to get it all the way in. If someone can please give me an idea on why it will not go all the way in. I know the splines are right because i twist it untill it pops in and it just will not go in all the way it seems like i am hitting something. I know it is the right length because i checked it with the old one.
