Default 2000 Brake noise and engine rumble help needed

My 2000 Dodge Neon has approx 90k miles. The front brakes on passenger side squeak when driving and make a ticking noise when stopping. Unsure what's causing this.
Secondly the front end vibrates violently on occasion when accelerating and between first and second gear. It doesn't stutter to accelerate. I've checked the motor mounts and they appear to be good. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Thanks in advance.

First thing you can do is remove the wheel and inspect the brakes.

Some pads have wear indicators that touch the rotor to let you know the pads are getting low. Time to check your brakes.
