BTW, did you find your hood switch about where the TSB illustration pictured it to be?

Yeah. Identical to the TSB

Ok all good feedback, sounds like the Dealer did a proper install, so this thread info should be helpful in the future to others trouble shooting & searching for answers to the same problem.
