well, i just got a whole two door 95 neon, for a turbo manifold i had off a saturn, so i am going to do the crazyest engine swap EVER!!! i am going to put a 318 small block in it, with prolly a ford nine inch rear end.....i have ordered a full 10 point cage for it, and i am going to tear the car down from scratch and start custom making EVERYTHING i have been reading on the 302 kits they are going to produce for the ford focus, and the structer integrety of the focus is not bad, but i am going to put alot of money into the structure of this neon, i do not want it twisting.....i am going for the sleeper look, the only thing is a hood, is there anyone that produces a pritty drastic cowl induction hood for the first gen neons...... i want the car to sit alittle lower than stock and about ten inch rear tires in the back, so a tub will be needed....i know it is going to be alot of work but i am up for the challenge, the block will fit, withought moving the firewall, but trans is another story .......i will have to cut the floor up and also make a tunel, pritty much the car is going to be a street legal drag car, so looking for any imput on this..... ps money is no issue, i am DARING to be drasticaly different!!!! oh yeah, once the engine is mounted, hoping to have room for a couple of turbos

Wow, good luck with this one man, should be crazy once yoy get it finished though. Oh and can you say DRAG!

youll probable have to put on an unfitted cowl and cut your hood. preaty easy job if you got the tools

i am really wanting a mid nine second car, if i can get there, it will be a success, the bigest thing i want this car to accoplish is looking stock, if i can pull it off i will be happy.... i want to pull into a car show, and people say why would you want to enter that flat blue POS of a neon, then i will open the hood and give them the bird!!! haha i am going to have it painted flat blue with the quiest v8 exhaust ever...i want the car to look as stock as possible, excluding the hood.... i know for a fact the hood will not sit on it with out a cowl, or something on it...i was thinking of making a hood for it, and cutting two holes in it, just for the turbos (drag style) i am hoping to get my 02 done by the spring and push the 95 in and get a working on it.....
