Clean your throttle body!

Mine took longer to get the linkage off then to get the actual TB off.

Bailey: Rather than painting it, you should have cut the air horns down on it.

Yeah i heard about this mod right after i did it...with as easy as it is to take out i might just do that and see if there is any difference....couldnt hurt i guess..

So I finished the cleaning and my mpg avg has shot up from a unpleasant 9.1 to 14.6. I don't think she had ever been cleaned. 1500 5.9 with 208000 getting 14.6 mpg's makes me very happy. She runs a lot smoother and has tht little chirp when I pull off now. Thanks to the forum for the help. I would love some advice on where to go next.
