Was told by my local dealer parts department the vacuum check valves for my 97 are discontinued. Guess it's time to start hunting around if I want anything other than defrost

They should have other, larger check valves that are commonly used (even at stealerships) as replacements for the discontinued part. You may have to do a little fitting fiddling to get them installed but they work just fine.

Been discontinued for several years.

Go to NAPA as they took over the part. http://www.napaonline.com/napa/en/p/...349/NDP7301349

Although this store shows out of stock. I got one at Napa a couple of years ago. Worst case you get the universal one and change the hoses.

Yes it is, thanks for the help with that translation. I can now confidently order amazon prime $5.01 delivered, way easier than driving over to the stealer.
I don't post too often but can always count on the group here to come through. Thanks again guys!

Today I bought the Huges FI Air gap intake, hopefully it'll get here before the weekend so I can install that and my new set of 4 control arms. I hope my truck knows how much I love it

I'm thinking about that f1 airgap as well. Let us know how it runs afterwards.

I might be selling mine if I can get the setup I want. I'll know in a few months.

I'm new to the forum but I guess this as good a place as any for my first post. I blew up my tranny last week and since I'm not driving my truck I got bored and took a sawzall to my spare doors and came up with the beginnings of half doors. I'm going to fiberglass them in and add marine speakers but for two hours and a couple beers they don't look horrible... not good lol but not horrible
