Metal snout. Hahahaa I'm gunna have to google that. I let it sot for a while then drove about 6 miles . It's idling and under 1 rooms and been running for 15 minutes and still hasn't moved from about 150 or 145 and yes I have the 180 t stat in . There was gung in my radiator cap and when put on defrost r heat there's a the my and a pump sound . That wasn't there before . I'm on a base right now so they'll flip of I start messing under my hood

Thumb every now and then when it's on heat or defrost under , right under 1 Rpms

This thing. Check the threads on it and where the hose fits on it it gunks up.

Oh no I cleaned that off and made sure that thing was tight as hell when I put it back on.. , but I'll double check

That's really not all that bad.... I have seen FAR worse.

I would say it is a big reason of why I was burning so much oil.

From the looks of them, the guides weren't all that bad for that kind of mileage. If there was a habit of price shopping for fuel involved, that's not bad at all.
