My dad is far from a leadfoot. He drives far more conservative then I. He drives like a grandpa, actually. And his truck is lighter.
I think weight has a lot to do with it too and what type of traffic has it too.
My traffic here is bad for a city of 100k. As in 45mph speed limit with the damn f@ggots doing 30 for no reason. Then there's the massive concrete medians and the mistimed lights....I have lots of reasons for 7 mpg....3.55's are one of them.

I get an average of 13.5 with mixed city/highway. And I drive hard, in and around a city well over 100,000, and sometimes a 30 minute wait on the commute in construction.
So even a leadfoot should not get 7 mpg unless something else is wrong. I would think I would get 11 to 12 in city only. And I don't like the look og a step side.....

I have no idea what would be wrong, everything is running well, new cat, front 02, fixed plenum, 3923's.....blah blah blah. Dunno.
As long as I drop below 6 I'm okay. I have my 76 for sub 6 mpg. lol
