I'm desperate to get this figured out as I NEED this cover by June 1st. First I was going to go with a hard cover, but it dawned on me that it would limit the use of the bed. I now think a tri fold is what i need. it needs to be relatively water tight as well. Price is important also - under $300 would be great.

I've been continuing to look and keep hitting dead ends - it's beginning to seem like they don't exist. Is there a decent, reasonably priced tri-fold that fits an '02 2500??

 

Nope. Those things are expensive. Your best bet is craigslist and get a used one.

 

I thinks the '02 25/3500s were the same body as the '94-'01 Rams, so you wouldn't have to limit your search to just '02 2500s...

 

Good point, didn't think of that. Check compatability across various years and not just 2002.

 

Ok, I really wanted a tonneau pro cover, but I finally heard back from the company that they do NOT make them for my truck year/style. I called them because some sites seemed to have it, but others did not - and I didn't want to buy it and find out it didn't fit. I'm running out of time!

It didn't look like American had one that would fit either - any other suggestions??

there are lots of tri folds that are universal

 

I wound up going with a roll- up. Every time I'd research one and decide to go for it
- then I'd find out that it wouldn't fit. I think this roll up should do well. I hope.

 

Try to check out Tonno Pro and Premium. They both offer soft tri-fold tonneau for the price closer to your budget.
