I bought one for my engine but can't find the link to it anymore. I'll get you the Mopar part number tomorrow.

I am trying to decide if I should get the cold air intake or not. I know they do nothing for our trucks, and the only reason I am considering it is because my stock air box is broken(plastic tabs on back). I took the broken one off today and I think I might be able to make some new tabs for it out of metal. I think it will work if I cut it so it can slide done the slot(picture 3) and then bend at a 90 degree angle over where the plastic tabs are suppose to be. Think it will work?

It came off this 97 magnum 5.9, Spectra filter/pipe, relatively clean reusable filter, and black gizmo with clamp (yours if you want it).
I'll send it for nothing. PM with interest. K................ Need street address for FedEx

OOPS, gotta shrink those photos

Snowbound,
It is the same part number as the one you have listed from Summit.
P4286800 so I would say go for it. I won't be using mine for a few more months. How long before you are ready to try starting your new engine? If I end up starting mine first I will let you know if the primer rod works or not.

Wildman, I hope to have it running in the next couple months too. I'm still saving my money for more parts and it has just start getting into the 40s so I haven't been able to do any work. I'm going to give it a try. I know merc would know but he hasn't been on the forum in a while so I will ask him when he gets back on.

Ham Bone, tincan is sending me that and I'm going to use it. I think it's a good start to build off of when I have more money. I was thinking of using a longer straight pipe and than a 90 degree turn to get it more by the headlight.

I ordered my heads today. I got the stock size valve thicker castings with different springs for my cam. The guy was trying to get me to get the 2.02 monsters, but that's just more money I don't have and I heard I'll get better torque with the smaller valves.
