if you can find a set of red injectors from an 01-03 5.9 get them, would be cheaper, and they run 23.6lbs/hr. you will need ev1-ev6 adapters.

So redneck_ram has a set of those red injectors, same ones you had. I found some old posts of yours about your truck and those injectors. If I read your posts right did you not have issues with those injectors? Any insight would be great. If I remember right Bosch 0-280-155-934.

Thanks Mark

you got it.. no problems whatsoever with those injectors.. I wish I would have stayed with them instead of attempting to 'upgrade'... that effort led to finding the dang clasp to pandora's box, and the reason I know way too much about injectors..

they are NOT four hole sprayers, but it doesn't really matter because at OE fuel sync of 0* on an oe cam, they hit the back of a hot valve to improve atomization (and also cool that valve off, but I think personally that was a later discovered advantage).. they spit 248cc of fuel per minute IIRC, and are rated at 23.6#.. they were stock in '01-'03 5.9's planted in Ram's.. the duty cycle won't break 80% @ WOT, which gives -some- breathing room in the case he does anything with displacement or boost.. it should be a plug and play set up that will work just fine for him..

Ok, I could try to find some. But Sean told me this:

"You want 24# at 39psi so it'll be like 27# at your 48psi pressure. Talk to hi-potek.com"

So I figured I'd listen to the guy tuning my engine. But I'm up for cheaper!

Sounds like you need injectors from a 94-95 5.2 or 5.9 Part # 53030262. They flow 24.6 at 39psi which is 27.3 at your 48psi.

I don't feel like posting a new thread, but I have an opportunity to purchase a 95 Dodge 3500 with the 12 valve. 180k, Hx35?, 191dv's, 215hp injectors, and a very well built auto trans and transfer case. Its a friend's of mine and I can grab it for 3000. Downside is that it has bad blowbye, and needs rebuilt. Upside is that the friend I'm buying it from will actually repair it for me. He took the duallys off and made it to a single rear. Club cab, long bed. I planned on also getting studs before the repairs. I kinda really want it

The trans has only 200 miles on it because he started digging into the motor right after. Billet torque converter and a bunch of other goodies mostly for towing.
