Good work dude! Keep at it.

I lapsed on my Xmas lights this year as I didn't get around to setting up the power supply better. What did you do for yours?

Nice touch on the sliders with the steps. Might you have put ribs inside the box where they are?

Thanks, My daughter is anxious to see it in person on friday.
The lights are 12v and are hooked up to a switch thats inside the cab.

As far as the ribs go, that might have been better. The diamond plate is 3/16 and the tubing is 3/16, so I think they will be plenty strong. I could be wrong. I think that with the bends, that will yield strength.

You don't have to decorate to have Christmas spirit. With what your going through this season, I don't think I would bother decorating either.

Yep that is a good book to read from cover to cover. I know I have about 3 times now and still think I am missing stuff so I'll read it again. Take you time and do it right the first time.

Ya Wildman, I know what you mean. I went thru it Thursday night and know that it will take several times to absorb all the things they cover

I kinda went thru it quickly cover to cover to get an overview. Don't remember the quench area, I'll look for it the next time thru. They point out weak areas of the 360 motor which really is few compared to all the pluses that makes it a perfect motor to stroke. I liked that they gave solutions to strengthen the weak areas.
