I couldn't find a good front pic of your steering to just try and compare since we are almost the same. Minor differences in the realm of inches for lift, I'd gather. So here are my pics for comparison is all. Hopefully, it's just a bad unit in general and a real bummer.

Replacing the factory cooler with a larger one goes a long way.

Thanks WK, I've been working and haven't had a chance to check out and compare the pics. I'll get to that on monday. I don't think mine is too far different from what I see in your pics.

Spoke to redhead, they are sending another gear box. I ordered a larger cooler.
I compared my front end with your pictures and the angles seem the same. Hopeful it was just a bad box. Thanks for the help.

The wife has me working in the back yard on a remodeling project. I'd much rather be installing the body lift and making new bumpers. I'm hoping by the end of July, I can get the yard done and back to the truck.

Red head sent me a new gearbox a couple of weeks ago, finally was able to get it installed this morning. I changed the fluid to ATF+4 on a mechanic's recommendation. He said, the synthetic ATF would handle more heat. Funny thing Redhead uses ATF to test their gearboxes and that is what is in them when they ship. Have a larger power steering cooler to install but the hoses were not long enough, I'll install it at a later date. Having tight steering linkage is great, the other had gotten very sloppy. Redhead was awesome on the warranty and I only have good things to say about them.

The back yard work progresses and I'm hoping to get it done soon, so I can start focusing on the lift, bumpers, headers, traction bar and Exhaust w/ high flow cat.

This is the back yard before we did anything on it.

We pulled out the oleanders, dug up some grass, laid down some pavers, made three windmill stands and put up one sail. we still have to put in the waterfall, fire pit and one more sail.

Looks great! Did you lay the pavers yourself? I think hardscaping is fun lol
