Default The Camo Beast as it Evolves.

I have some upgrades that I have planned for this year and thought I would start a thread on it. I'm on vacation next week and everything is going to get started. I have a set of staun internal bead locks that have arrived and will go in next week. There is a set of headers that will be here on Tuesday that may or may not get installed this week. The main priority is to get my garage cleaned out and the Fab Shop set up.

More future projects for the Fab Shop will be a custom single traction bar with a reverse shackle mount near the transfer case, some custom bumpers for the front and rear and a spare tire mount in the bed of the truck.

The months ahead should be exciting and full of posts and pictures for the picture ******. By the way, I'm a picture ***** also.

Here is a project that was done back in January. When I upgraded the axles they only made the guard that I wanted to use for the Dana 60, not for the Dana 80.

So it was necessary to fabricate one for the rear. I picked up a Dana 80 diff cover to use as a pattern and the other materials and with the help of a friend for the welding and he cut out the base plate. and with the tubing bender and chop saw, I made the pieces. This is what happened.

And then cleaned up and painted

and then installed

Good stuff man. You've got some catching up to do!!! hahhhaa But I do too!

You'll like the 211. I'm running it with 220v. I recommend you get a bigger bottle as they empty faster than you think!!!

Wish I had a plasma, but have gotten by with cutoff and borrowed Milwaukee PortaBand. I just may check out that HF bandsaw you got.

My most recent tool though is a drill press. Oh my goodness how helpful this has become.
