Use a fire wrench. Then, be sure to put anti-seize on the threads of the new sensor.

Might get some snow here in the mountains on Saturday! Then off to Fairfax Sunday for work on Monday

Havnt heard the name Fairfax in a little while, has nothing to do with the fact that i hate fairfax county :P

Will try pb blaster. as for heating it, i did not want to actually replace it, just do a cat check. Something tells me that torching the sensor is probably not good for it.

They are talking snow here tonight.... Of course, even if we get some, it will be gone by morning. Supposed to be in the mid 40's for the weekend.

It gets torched every time the engine runs. That's another way to try, drive the truck around awhile and try to remove it while its still hot. Is it OEM? Might as well replace it....

going to look at a potential new truck tomorrow... its an 06 2500 quad cab long bed laramie. wicked nice truck, just over 104k miles, its at a dodge dealer about 40 minutes away. theyre asking 10k for it, which is extremely low for the year.
