Default Question about dash

I have 97 dodge 1500. I have a cd/dvd played with a 8 in screen. Do they make a aftermarket dash to make that fit. Or do I have to modify it myself?

Sounds to me like you are looking for an instalation kit for your new head unit. You should be able to google your head unit and find and instalation kit for your specific vehical. Or take it to Best Buy or a car sterio place and have it installed. If for some reason you are mounting something in the upper dash I am sure you'll have to cut and do your own molding.

yup, you will have to cut up since its an double din. Dodge in those year trucks will not have a dash to support that, so find the mounting bracket and then youll have to cut and modify

As said, youll have to cut and modify. Dremels works very well for this. I do recommend taking the negative battery cable off so you dont accidently set the air bag off.
