Ram 1500 Pace truck
So today I decided to check out my local junk yard, which has a bunch of newer nicer rides, but right outside, as I was about to leave, I spot this:
I go back inside, I ask if parts are for sale, which they say yes..
just wondering if anything worth it or rare is on that truck, besides the paint? its missing a transmission, dash isn't cracked but the area where the screws go into the dash is messed up, not worth it. it had 191K miles on it.
interior was very dirty but salvageable. i dont need any interior parts except the dash.
had brand new headlights which the guy said wanted 200 for all 4.
engine seemed to have elderblock covers on it, couldn't tell what else because im not that good. it was painted red and had no AC.
2 more pics. so again, anything worth it off the truck? i really wanted the headlights and the shifter, and possibly the exhaust. but when he told me 200 for the headlights, i didnt bother with anything else. maybe ill go back.

I'd ask them what they wanted for the doors? One could get a kick out of the wrong year truck to put'em on. K.
edit: joke around home is a farmer might have 2 blue doors on a black truck, with a green tailgate and a red hood. A farm work truck is a work truck and they are maintained out of the salvage yards for the most part. All or most are 4wd's. One of my favorite phrases I learned in project management
was/still is, "a Position of strength".

Yep the wheels are worth saving! I would love to have a extra set for my Indy.
the doors might be worth something to someone like me that don't have the stickers on them. My stickers were under the seat in a box that disappeared.
Not sure what all has been done to the engine but it looks to have some nice addons. Where is this truck located?
