Who has owned their Secondgen the longest?
As was brought up in another thread, it seems secondgen owners are going the way of the dinosaur via involvement on this forum. Although I see many of these trucks on the road.
WHO HAS OWNED THEIR TRUCK THE LONGEST?
I bought my first secondgen in 2004: 1996 SLT Laramie regular cab (No back seat. Club cab is the extended cab with suicide doors). Then joined the forum to find out about aftermarket parts. Then I bought another in 2008. My current 2001, Club Cab, 5.9 OFF ROAD. How lucky I felt to get a lifted extended cab with a 5.9 and 4.10 gears!
So, technically I have owned ONE truck for 7 years. But 11 total for secondgens.
Anyone here the first owner of a 1994?

I bought my girl on June 4, 2001 at Feeny Dodge in Palatine, IL. Just passed 14 years of bliss! So I'm in 2nd place currently....

Don't feel too bad about it. I did my homework and spent months finding a truck that met all of my important criteria, then just shy of five months later the damned OD snap ring came untogether. Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes the bear eats you. Or something like that.
