http://at-manuals.com/manuals/fnr5-мазда/

There is a link at the bottom for the repair manual, but I would scan it before downloading just to be safe. Hopefully it's good and the right one.

That's one of many links I found that don't have what I need. I don't know if they want me to register or what, but clicking on the link only yields a diagram of the transmission.

Thanks for trying.

Of course it couldn't be that easy . I'll keep digging then.

Just for curiosities sake, what's the difference between the Ford and Mazda? Most of the sites I found had them grouped together, but I didn't look to see the differences.

I think a couple of the solenoids are different, but I do remember seeing the pistons and one or two other parts have differences.

I'm going to check with a local parts guy who seems to have everything under the sun. Chances are he might have both a manual and also a complete overhaul kit.

I'll keep you posted.

I'm still coming up dry in my search and and seriously considering just dumping the car. NADA for its current condition (physical and mechanical) is $1,885. I really don't have the time to deal with it, yet I hate driving a truck every day. This is maddening.

Trade the truck and junker in for a new Mazda, or get used to driving a truck every day.

Not exactly rocket science.

Oh hell no. I would never buy a new vehicle. That's called being bad at math.

Also not rocket science.

Didn't say you had to buy a new (fresh out of the factory) vehicle.... Also, how'd you acquire the Silver Bullet?

My buddy wants to convince me to go for the RAM 1500 redesign. Should I wait for the one year or to go with the older version?

What are you driving now, and how soon to you need a truck?
